Bike Bar Expansion

Light Commercial RemodelDesigned in collaboration with client/business owner, Steve Gelb, AZ Design Build Management executed the renovation and expansion of Bike Bar, a bicycle inspired taproom located on East State Street in downtown Ithaca. Before the start of AZDBM, Anesti served as the Lead Carpenter for the original Bike Bar build-out in 2019. Anesti and the AZDBM team were able to build upon the original concept and adapt the space to meet the needs of the growing business.
Defining Design Details:-
The local bar was frequently at maximum capacity. A new floor plan was created to ease patron flow and maximize business efficiency.

The location started as a bicycle repair shop. The client wanted to retain that feel and experience of a bicycle shop in the bar design. This involved creative elements such as a custom made bar-top with embedded motorcycle gears, reclaimed copper and wood materials, and a recycled metal entryway.
